THE ARTIST:
Ike Paige is the lead vocalist on the " Serious Partyin EP". He is a military veteran, attended BMCC, He started singing at the young tender age of 6, but by growing up in a religious household only singing gospel songs was permissible and singing anything other was taboo. As a teenager him and his pals started singing R&B and lots of people took notice. While in high school the music teacher suggested that he take some music instrument lessons. The instrument he chose to learn how to play was the trumpet, which was not an easy instrument to play. He stuck with it and learned to read and write music. He liked doing vocals more than playing a musical instrument. Later he started writing songs and became very good at it. He can write Country, Blues, Gospel, Pop, Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues, Rap, and Hip Hop.
While doing some weekend partying at a hot local club here in New York city, he noticed the crowd was sturdy getting up to get down on the dance floor to the funky beats that the DJ was mixing and dishing out. At that time New York was so so alive with the best clubs and music creators and it still is. The whole scene inspired him to write and come up with the music concept for the song "SERIOUS PARTYIN". First the song was shopped to several artist and they showed no interest. Then Ike Paige the writer of the song decided to sing the song himself. He was the executive producer and solicited the help of a producer to assist him by doing the producing chore.
THE CONCEPT:
THE BAND: DANCIN WOO LEE MASTERS was a studio concept band utilizing session musicians that were his buddies and they gave him exactly what was wanted in the recording studio. On the keyboard was Leslie Maynard, on drums Bobby Ealy, on guitar Lewis Wright, on bass and percussions 2 members we added later were from the country of Jamaica. We practiced constantly until we got the feeling that we wanted for the song. The first demo was recorded at my in- home studio. Which was a 4 track Teac Tascam tape recorder The musical instruments that was used was a Fender Rhodes 73 keyboard, Fender Stratacaster electric guitar, Martin Bass, Congas, and a no name drum set The song was recorded at Unique Recording Studio located in New York City. The song was recorded and was released on a limited basis. The song was re-discovered in the USA and then made its way to Europe, Africa, Mexico, Canada, Middle East, Asia, and Australia.

Ike Paige is the owner, executive producer, musician, singer & songwriter .He is also the co-writer of several published works including "Lovin Cup" and "Fast Freddie" a/k/a "One Man Jam". Those 2 songs were featured on an album by a group out of Minnesota.
